About these terms

These terms cover your Halyard account, the trading, wallet, earn and launchpad services and your use of this website. By opening an account you agree to them. They are written to be read, so please do.

Who can open an account

You must be at least 18, able to enter a contract where you live, and not on a sanctions list. Supported countries vary and some services are not available everywhere. We may ask you to verify your identity before you trade or withdraw.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in details, devices and recovery phrase safe. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
• Turn on two-factor authentication. We will never ask for your password or recovery phrase.
• Tell us at once at support@halyard.exchange if you think someone else has access.

Orders and prices

• A market order fills at the best price on the order book at that moment; a limit order fills only at your price or better.
• Prices move. The quote you see is live and can change before an order fills.
• Fees are shown before you confirm and on the fees page. We take no hidden spread.
• Filled orders are final; a blockchain transaction cannot be reversed.

Risk

Crypto assets are volatile and can lose all of their value. Nothing on this site is investment, tax or legal advice. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. Earn products carry their own risks, which are shown on each product page.

If something looks wrong with an order, a deposit or a withdrawal, write to us first. We would rather fix it the same day than have you worry.

Deposits and withdrawals

Deposits are credited after the number of network confirmations shown on the deposit page. Withdrawals are sent after security checks and may be delayed or held when the law or your safety requires it. Sending assets to the wrong network or address cannot be undone.

Custody

Exchange balances are held one-to-one and attested monthly. Assets in the self-custody wallet are controlled by your keys alone, and we cannot move or recover them.

Suspension and closing

We may limit or suspend an account for fraud, sanctions, a legal order or a breach of these terms, and we will tell you why where the law allows. You can close your account at any time after withdrawing your balance.

Using this site

The words, designs and data on this site belong to Halyard or are used with permission. Market data is shown for information and may be delayed.

Liability

We run the service with care but cannot promise it is always available or free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits rights the law gives you.
